Rochestown Church, Co. Tipperary.
Is one of the first and the finest examples to be called Sheela-na-gig but unfortunately it too suffered from over-eager collecters and went missing approx. 1860. I had heard that it was taken to Kiltinan Castle and was hidden beneath a bridge on the estate!
All we have now is this drawing and a hole in the East wall.
I would imagine the drawing and the sheelanagig title both, to be sanitized versions of the real thing.
