1 genuine sheela to add to the list and it was found only 80 years ago. Question, do Archeos live in a different era?
A recent report in Archaeology Ireland magazine brought it to my attention that a sheela had been remounted at the village well and you can see from the photo what an unusual sheela she is. Not sure if that is evidence of rubbing on the statue or just weathering. A visit to the area when the weather improves is reqd.
