Blackhall

Blackhall Castle, Co. Kildare

 

Partly collapsed  following a severe storm but the sheela which was to the right of the castle door survived and is under the care of the owner. I’m not sure if it can be viewed now but call in and ask nicely.

I’ve seen a reference that it might have originated from Kilcullen Church.
