Ballylarkin Church, Co. Kilkenny
This 13th century church is just near the side of the road, partly ruined and difficult to make out the sheelas former location, although most others are placed on the South Wall.
A large ash tree behind the church known as the Bishop’s Tree, is the place where seven bishop’s were said to have been murdered.
This very distinguished sheela, that has featured in a lot of publications, lies in the basement of the National Museum, Dublin.
Some of the features are very similar to Tullaroan, which is only a few kilometres away from here.
